The thermal insulation material "NanoBlock" is a liquid composition on a water basis, which consists of synthetic rubber, acrylic polymer and inorganic pigments, in the structure of which vacuum ceramic microspheres and empty silicon spheres are incorporated. This exceptional combination of insulating materials and unique structure make this material light and elastic. The main characteristic of this material is its external thermal insulation property, with a thickness of 2 mm. However, taking into account the described composition and structure, this material is also an excellent sound insulator. Thanks to its properties, "NanoBlock" protects coated surfaces from corrosion, which is very important in industrial applications. The sound and thermal insulation properties of this material make it suitable for use in construction facilities. The material is applied to the surface in the same way as acrylic paints, with a wide range of applications compared to all other insulating materials that can currently be found on the market. It is applied to surfaces of any shape and composition, to concrete, metal, plastic, glass, brick and almost all other industrial and construction materials. The application of this material can be done with a trowel or with a sprayer (for professional applications) or with a regular brush (for smaller applications). In its basic form, the material is white, but it can be tinted or repainted in any color after drying without losing its insulating properties. Due to its great homogeneity, elasticity, water resistance and other properties, "NanoBlock" is characterized by its durability of exploitation for more than 10 years in open space and more than 25 years in closed space.
The liquid thermal insulation material "NanoBlock" possesses a series of physical and chemical
characteristics, which make it superior to all other insulation materials:
• The thermal conductivity coefficient λ=0.058, only 2 mm thick is close to classic insulations
• Thermal, acoustic and cold protection
• Possibility to apply objects whose temperature ranges from 5 oC to 150 oC! This enables the application of
large industrial facilities without stopping the technological process (process industry, heating, boilers,
etc.)
• Reflectance in ultra-violet rays (reflects up to 98% UV)
• Basic color white, can be tinted
• It has air permeability, which enables frequent drying of the smeared surfaces of building materials. In
this way, an additional energy saving of 7 to 9 % is achieved
• Due to its extremely adhesive properties and elastic structure, the material breathes through the
substrate and does so
suitable for the application of objects where there is a large expansion of temperatures.
• 100% environmentally friendly and safe. During heating, it does not emit atmospheric harmful substances.
There are no harmful effects on the environment.
• Easy and simple application through an "airless" sprayer or with a brush
• Can be combined with other insulating materials, as well as with all types of colors.
• Defects and cleaning of the insulating layer are removed very simply by applying a new layer to the
damaged area.
• Easy and high-quality insulation of hard-to-reach and relief surfaces (curves, grooves, facades with
complex
shapes, valves, twisted and spiral pipes, closed space with an irregular shape, the interior of the
transports, etc.).
• Given that the insulation can be applied with the airless spray method and that the insulation layer is
thickness of several millimeters, this is a great advantage in the construction of new buildings, and in the
adaptation of old, already existing buildings.
• The application of the classic insulation material to large-sized objects regularly requires the placement
of
large and expensive scaffolding. In contrast, NanoBlock is applied very easily with the method of industrial
climbing or with the help of an auto-crane, which drastically reduces costs and time.
NanoBlock" insulation is applied to metal, concrete, brick, wood, glass, ceramics, plastic, rubber,
cardboard, and almost all other industrial and construction materials and substrates. The surface on which
this material is applied should be clean, degreased and free from corrosion. The application is possible on
surfaces whose temperature can be in the interval +5 to +150 oC.
Preparation of the material
If the material is very thick (for example after standing for a long time), 50-120 ml of water can be added
to one bucket of 16 l of material. It is desirable to drain the material through a filter, to ensure
specific and good application with "airless" sprayers.
Application of the material
To tint the "NanoBlock" material, the same toners can be used as for acrylic paints (do not add more than 1%
pigment). Tinting does not lose the properties and characteristics of the material, and gives the
possibility of choosing a color for an aesthetic and technological appearance.
The material is applied in layers. The thickness of one layer can be from 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm. The material can
be applied using an airless sprayer under a pressure of 40 to 100 bar with a nozzle of 0.5 mm. The material
can also be applied with a regular brush or roller. This method is not recommended for professional
activities, but it is suitable for repairs of damaged insulation materials as well as for application in
apartments or smaller areas.
Brushing is done in the same way as acrylic paint. The time of complete drying and polymerization of the
layers is 24 hours. Within 12 hours of the application of the layers, protection against possible water
precipitation should be ensured. The new layer is applied after complete drying of the previous layer.
At low temperatures and in conditions of increased air humidity, the drying process takes longer.
The consumption rate of the material is 1 liter per 1 m2, depending on the previously prepared surface for
insulation.
* This expertly performed insulation in 3 layers with a thickness of 2 mm replaces approximately up to 50 mm
of classic insulation.
If the user does not follow the application instructions suggested by the manufacturer, i.e. not properly
applying the insulation, then the manufacturer does not take responsibility for the thermal effects of
